4. Permissions Explanation

Keeply requests the following permissions:

tabs

Used only to display currently open browser tabs so users can save them into collections as links. When saving a tab, only the tab's URL, title, and favicon are stored locally in the browser. No other tab content or browsing data is accessed. No tab data is transmitted or stored externally.

storage

Used to store user-created collections, links, and notes locally within the browser.

These permissions are required strictly for core functionality.

5. New Tab Page Override

Keeply replaces the default Chrome new tab page with its own dashboard interface. This allows users to quickly access their saved collections, links, and notes whenever they open a new tab.

The new tab page operates entirely within the extension and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal browsing data externally.

6. Data Sharing

Keeply does not:

Sell user data
Share user data
Transfer user data
Process user data on external servers

All functionality operates locally within the browser.

Because Keeply does not transmit or store data on external servers, your information remains under your control within your browser.
